First Place for “Smart Desk” – Designer Kaloyan Vasilev & Manufacturer KV Design

The gold medalist in the Chairs and Tables – Realized Products subcategory within the Professionals category at the 10th edition of the “Bulgarian Furniture of the Year” competition (2024) is the Smart Desk project by designer Kaloyan Vasilev and manufacturer KV Design.

Smart Desk: A New Generation Workstation

The Smart Desk is a state-of-the-art workstation designed for modern needs. It features an integrated wireless charger, built-in speakers, and LED lighting embedded within the desktop.

The desktop is crafted from high-quality epoxy resin combined with American walnut, creating a sleek and durable surface. Each accessory is distinctly marked with a custom inlay, made from epoxy resin in various colours, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics.

The desk incorporates a premium LED strip and high-end components from Häfele, ensuring top-tier quality. The adjustable base, also supplied by Häfele, features a height-adjustment mechanism, allowing users to modify the desk’s height effortlessly at any time.
